on abs and nets in Macaas, Catmon

It was an idyllic scene- a young lad organizing his net by the beach of Macaas, in the northern town of Catmon, Cebu. We, the photographers of Cebu-Sugbo were having a flickr meetup and we asked and got the fisherman’s permission that we take pictures of him going about his chores. He couldn't care less that he was the center of 5 cameras' attention. He was in a hurry to get his catch as it was 12 noon. In less than 7 minutes we took the first snapshots, he finished his chore and dove right into the water.

This young man certainly has the patience to mend nets and sort out the mess of what to us was almost impossible. He personified hard work in many ways. And of course, he had the abs to show for it.
